For each eFlex installation a hierarchy of relationships are configured depending on how many courts, inboxes,
divisions, jurisdictions, locations, and the types of cases the court will let the filer submit.
During the design process Tybera works with the court to understand these relationships and then configures
an environment that best meets the needs of each installation.
Based on these relationships eFlex stores the types of cases a give court, division, location, or jurisdiction can
receive. Through this screen the administrator can add, edit, or delete the types of cases available to the filer
for submission.
The options for configuring a case type includes:
- Description - describes the type of case the filer will select from.
- Code - identifies what case management code eFlex will store and forward when initiating a case based on selection.
- Form - identifies the path to a jsp web form needed to initiate each specific type of case. Most cases share this form.
- Court Type - identifies the type of court configured in the Court Division screen.
- To - associates the case type to an Inbox configuration. Most courts will only have one Inbox, however through the design review
process Tybera will help the court configure the Inboxes if more are needed.
Tybera will work with the court to understand how the various options are used.
